On 22 August 2025, the Pensions Regulator and Financial Conduct Authority (FCA) published a joint podcast discussing how the FCA’s targeted support proposals complement provisions in the Pension Schemes Bill 2025 related to guided retirement.
In June 2025, the FCA launched a consultation on the proposals for a new form of targeted support for consumers’ pensions and retail investment decisions. The Pensions Regulator have urged trustees to respond to the FCA’s consultation, which closes on 29 August 2025.
