On 3 October 2025, the Financial Conduct Authority (FCA) and the Practitioner Panel published a report from their 2024/25 joint survey of FCA regulated firms.

The FCA and Practitioner Panel Survey measures how the FCA has performed against its strategic and operational objectives and quantifies progress towards its desired outcomes. It is conducted among Chief Executives and/or Heads of Compliance from financial organisations regulated by the FCA.

Feedback to the survey indicates that firms’ views are broadly similar with previous years. Most continue to hold a positive perception of the FCA’s performance (rated 7 out of 10 for satisfaction) and trust (81% of survey respondents said trust levels had stayed the same as the previous year) in the FCA’s role to deliver strategic priorities and maintain the integrity of financial markets.
