On 23 April 2021, the Bank of England (BoE) updated its webpage regard stress testing by adding further items regarding its 2021 Climate Biennial Exploratory Scenario. In particular the BoE has published:

• The 2021 Biennial Exploratory Scenario on the financial risks from climate change: notes to accompany the structured data templates and the qualitative questionnaire.  This document contains: (i) introduction, scope and metrics of participants’ submissions, approach to time and treatment of balance sheet and modelling approaches; (ii) detailed information on the purpose and content of all data templates; and (iii) guidance on the data submission and data quality assurance process.
• CBES data templates. This includes all reporting templates participating firms should use to make their quantitative submissions.
• CBES data dictionary. This includes all relevant reporting information for the CBES templates including definitions, enumerations, patterns and reconciliations.
• CBES qualitative questionnaire. This includes all qualitative queries for firms to respond to.
