The European Banking Authority (EBA) has published revised versions of the final draft implementing technical standards (ITS) relating to:

  • asset encumbrance reporting under article 100 of the Capital Requirements Regulation (CRR). The updated annexes are also available on the EBA webpage on the ITS;
  • supervisory reporting on forbearance and non-performing exposures under article 99(4) of the CRR. The updated annexes are also available on the EBA webpage on the ITS; and
  • additional liquidity monitoring metrics under article 415(3)(b) of the CRR. The updated annexes to are also available on the EBA webpage on the ITS.

The European Banking Authority (EBA) has updated its Q&As on the single rulebook, publishing nine new answers to questions. The Q&As relate to the CRD IV package of reforms: the CRD IV Directive, the Capital Requirements Regulation and the related technical standards and guidelines developed by the EBA. The nine updated Q&As cover various issues including:

  • supervisory reporting;
  • remuneration;
  • operational risk;
  • liquidity risk; and
  • credit risk requirements.

The PRA has published Consultation Paper CP13/14: Implementing the Bank Recovery and Resolution Directive (CP13/14).

In CP13/14, the PRA sets out its approach to implementing the Bank Recovery Resolution Directive (BRRD) provisions on:

  • recovery planning;
  • resolution planning;
  • intra-group financial support agreements;
  • notifications of failure or likely failure;
  • contractual recognition of the bail-in tool; and
  • cost-benefit analysis
