On 3 June 2026, the European Securities and Markets Authority (ESMA) published a letter that it had sent to the European Commission regarding the prioritisation of its 2026 deliverables. The letter includes an annex setting out deliverables that are deprioritised or postponed in 2026. These include technical standards and guidelines that are being delayed until the publication of the Market integration and supervision package.
