On 17 July 2015, the Decree for the implementation of the Single Supervisory Mechanism Regulation (No 1024/2013) (the SSM Regulation) was published (the Decree). The Decree amends a number of decrees based on the Act on the Financial Supervision (Wet op financieel toezicht, AFS) to reflect the division of tasks between the European Central Bank (ECB) and the Dutch Central Bank (De Nederlandsche Bank). The AFS was already amended through the Dutch Act implementing the SSM Regulation (Uitvoeringswet verordening bankentoezicht) which entered into force on 12 June 2015.
