On 24 August 2015, the Dutch Minister of Finance published the first draft of the Bill for the Decree implementing the amended Transparency Directive (Implementatiebesluit wijziging richtlijn transparantie, the Implementation Decree).

Together with the Act to implement the amended Transparency Directive (Implementatiewet wijziging richtlijn transparantie, the Implementation Act), which was submitted to the Dutch Parliament in June 2015, the Implementation Decree aims to implement the amended Transparency Directive into Dutch legislation. The implementation needs to be finalised by 26 November 2015. As a result of the amended Transparency Directive, a number of transparency obligations for issuing institutions will change. An important goal of the amended Directive is to reduce the transparency requirements (and thereby reduce administrative burdens of issuing institutions).
