On 28 March 2025, the EU Platform on Sustainable Finance (Platform) published an updated version of its handbook on Climate Transition Benchmarks and Paris Aligned Benchmarks.

The first version of the Handbook was published in 2019 and was in response to frequently asked questions (FAQs), which the TEG benchmarks subgroup members encountered when presenting the EU Climate Transition Benchmark, the EU Paris Aligned Benchmark and the benchmarks’ disclosure guidance on environmental, social or governance issues.

The Data Science Hub of the Platform has added further FAQs to the Handbook. For each FAQs, the Handbook indicates if it was responded to by the TEG subgroup in 2019 or the Platform’s Data Science Hub in 2025.
