On 8 March 2024, there was published in the Official Journal of the EU, Commission Implementing Regulation (EU) 2024/796 of 4 March 2024 amending the implementing technical standards (ITS) laid down in Implementing Regulation (EU) No. 650/2014 as regards the information to be disclosed by competent authorities in accordance with the Capital Requirements Directive IV (CRD IV).  The Implementing Regulation enters into force on the twentieth day following its publication in the OJ (28 March 2024).

Commission Implementing Regulation (EU) No. 650/2014 lays down ITS with regard to the format, structure, contents list and annual publication date of the information to be disclosed by Member State competent authorities (NCAs) in accordance with the CRD IV. The amendments being made to Commission Implementing Regulation (EU) No. 650/2014 reflects certain changes that were made to the CRD IV by Directive (EU) 2019/878 and also that the Investment Firms Directive contains the prudential arrangements for EU investment firms and that Implementing Regulation (EU) 2022/389 now specifies the information that NCAs are to publish about those investment firms.
