On 27 December 2024, there was published in the Official Journal of the EU (OJ) Commission Implementing Regulation 2024/3317 of 29 November 2024 laying down implementing technical standards for the application of the Capital Requirements Regulation (CRR) with regard to supervisory reporting of institutions and repealing Commission Implementing Regulation (EU) 2021/451.

Given the large number of changes that are required to give effect to the new rules on reporting obligations, Commission Implementing Regulation (EU) 2021/451 is replaced by Commission Implementing Regulation 2024/3317. Commission Implementing Regulation 2024/3317 lays down uniform reporting formats, the frequency and dates of reporting for the reporting by institutions to their Member State competent authorities in accordance with Article 415, paragraphs 3 and 3a, of the CRR, and Article 430, paragraphs 1 to 4, 7 and 9 of that Regulation.

Commission Implementing Regulation 2024/3317 entered into force on the day following its publication in the OJ and it shall apply from 28 June 2025.
