The FCA has published a speech given by Christopher Woolard (Director of Strategy & Competition, FCA) entitled The future of the UK mortgage market. In his speech Mr Woolard mentions that the FCA will be undertaking a review of barriers to competition in the mortgage sector, with a view to launching a market study in early 2016. The study will include a review of key aspects of how the Mortgage Market Review has impacted the market.
