On 6 November 2024, the Economic Crime and Corporate Transparency Act 2023 (Commencement No. 3) Regulations 2024 were made and published on legislation.gov.uk.

These are the third commencement regulations made under the Economic Crime and Corporate Transparency Act 2023, bringing:

• Measures relating to civil recovery of cryptoassets, which are already in force in England and Wales and Northern Ireland but only partially in force in Scotland, fully into force on 7 November 2024.
• Measures creating a new offence of failing to prevent fraud fully into force in all of the UK on 1st September 2025.
