The European Parliament has published a provisional edition of the text of the revised Payment Services Directive (PSD2).

The PSD2 needs to be formally adopted by the Council of the EU and then published in the Official Journal of the European Union (OJ). Member States have two years from the PSD2’s date of publication in the OJ in which to implement it.
