The European Central Bank (ECB) has published a document setting out additional feedback from the Target2-Securities advisory group (T2S AG) on the European Securities and Markets Authority’s (ESMA) discussion paper on draft technical standards for the proposed Regulation on improving securities settlement and on central securities depositories.

A covering letter from Jean-Michel Godeffroy, T2S AG Chairman, to Rodrigo Buenaventura, ESMA Head of Markets Division, explains that the T2S AG hopes that the feedback is still considered a valuable contribution to the discussion paper and that he understands it is in time for ensuring that the T2S AG’s views will be taken into consideration during ESMA’s further work in this area.
