The following statutory instruments, which relate to the extension of the special resolution regime (SRR) to systemically important investment firms, recognised central counterparties (RCCPs) and group companies, were published on the legislation.gov.uk website:
- the Banking Act 2009 (Restriction of Partial Property Transfers) (Recognised Central Counterparties) Order 2014 together with an explanatory memorandum;
- the Banking Act 2009 (Third Party Compensation Arrangements for Partial Property Transfers) (Amendment) Regulations 2014;
- the Banking Act 2009 (Banking Group Companies) Order 2014; and
- the Banking Act 2009 (Exclusion of Investment Firms of a Specified Description) Order 2014.
The instruments were all made on 9 July 2014 and come into force on 1 August 2014.
