The Agency for the Cooperation of Energy Regulators (ACER) has announced that the implementation of the Regulation on wholesale energy market integrity and transparency (REMIT) has entered its final stage. ACER notes that data reporting under REMIT has exceeded all expectations, with more than 1 million data records submitted to ACER daily since 7 October 2015. ACER also notes that the issues that appeared during the first weeks of operations have been solved, that its REMIT Information System (ARIS) has been collecting data in a stable manner ever since and that it is now preparing for the next stage of data collection as of 7 April 2016.
