The European Commission has published a draft delegated Regulation setting out regulatory technical standards for the publication of supplementary prospectuses. The draft differs slightly from that published by European Securities and Markets Authority (ESMA) in December 2013.
The draft delegated Regulation will now pass to the European Parliament and the Council of the EU for their consideration. If neither the Council nor Parliament objects to the draft, it will be published in the Official Journal of the EU. The delegated Regulation will then enter into force on the twentieth day following publication.
