There has been published a note from the Presidency of the Council of the EU to the Permanent Representatives Committee concerning the preparation for the next informal trialogue negotiation on the proposed Fourth Money Laundering Directive.
The note mentions that for the trilogue negotiations to be successfully concluded there needs to be agreement on an updated mandate for two key open issues. These open issues relate to the storage of beneficial information and data protection. The note sets out a suggested mandate for each issue.
The last trilogue negotiation is scheduled on 16 December 2014.
