On 7 October 2019, the PRA published Occasional Consultation Paper 25/19: Occasional Consultation Paper (CP25/19). In CP25/19 the PRA proposes minor amendments to PRA Rulebook Parts, Supervisory Statements (SS), Statements of Policy (SoP) and relevant templates.
In chapter 2, the PRA sets out proposals to update SS20/15: Supervising building societies’ treasury and lending activities and SoP: The PRA’s methodologies for setting Pillar 2 capital to remove references to the London Inter-bank Offered Rate.
In chapter 3, the PRA sets out proposals to update redundant references and make minor corrections to SS28/15: Strengthening individual accountability in banking and SS35/15: Strengthening individual accountability in insurance.
In chapter 4, the PRA sets out its proposals to make minor updates and corrections to certain Capital+ and ring-fenced body reporting templates. The proposals would amend the Regulatory Reporting Part of the PRA Rulebook and the following templates: Capital+ (PRA101 and PRA 102) and Ring-fenced body reporting (RFB003, RFB004 and RFB008).
In chapter 5, the PRA sets out proposals in relation to retirement interest-only (RIO) mortgages as well as certain interest-only mortgages which are converted into RIO mortgages. The proposals would result in amendments to SS11/13: Internal Ratings Based approaches and SS10/13: Standardised approach.
The deadline for comments relating to chapter 4 is 18 November 2019 and on 9 December 2019 for the remaining chapters.
