On 10 April 2025, the Prudential Regulation Authority (PRA) published its Business Plan 2025/26.

Among other things the Business Plan notes that:

• In 2024 the PRA consulted on targeted refinements to its approach to banks branching into the UK. Updates to the approach will be finalised in H1 2025.
• In 2025 the PRA will consult on policy relating to the management of ICT, including risks arising from transformations of ICT infrastructure and the banking and insurance sector’s resilience in the event of ICT and cyber incidents.
• In 2025, the PRA will develop its proposed policy to implement the Basel Committee’s standard on banks cryptoassets exposures.
• In H2 2025 the PRA will publish its final policy following its earlier consultation on remuneration reforms.
