HM Treasury has published 7 designation orders which bring the following payment systems into the scope of the Payment Systems Regulator:

• Bacs;
• CHAPS;
• Faster Payments;
• Link;
• Cheque and Credit;
• Northern Ireland clearing; and
• Visa Europe.

The designation orders will come into force on 1 April 2015.
