The Financial Ombudsman Service (FOS) has published the latest issue of its newsletter Ombudsman news (issue 122). This issue of Ombudsman news covers case studies focusing on winter related complaints. As the winter season increases the impact of something going wrong, businesses are expected to recognize and address the wider, non-financial consequences of any mistake. This is then followed by an ombudsman focus, highlighting and responding to feedback from complaints handlers at financial businesses over the last six months regarding firms’ experience of dealing with the FOS.
