On 22 March 2019, there was published in the Official Journal of the EU, Commission Delegated Regulation (EU) 2019/460 of 30 January 2019 amending the European Markets Infrastructure Regulation (EMIR) with regard to the list of exempted entities.

The Bank of England and public bodies charged with or intervening in the management of the public debt in the UK are being included in the list of exempted entities laid down in EMIR. The Delegated Regulation applies when EMIR ceases to apply to the UK.
