The Bank of England (BoE) has updated its website to include a new webpage on central counterparty (CCP) qualifying holding notifications.

The webpage contains information on:

• information for persons proposing to sell a qualifying holding in a UK CCP, setting out the information that is required to be notified to the BoE before making a disposal;
• information for persons proposing to acquire a qualifying holding in a UK CCP, including a link to the notification form, at the bottom of the page, which must be used to notify the BoE for approval;
• pre-notification, setting out an email that a person can use to discuss the necessity of such a stage; and
• submitting, setting out an email and address that a person should use to forward a copy of their notification and supporting documents.
