On 3 September 2015, our Dutch financial services team will be holding its annual markets infrastructure roundtable.
The roundtable will take place at our offices in Amsterdam – Rembrandttower 24th FLOOR, Amstelplein 1, 1090 GC, Amsterdam
Whilst the industry has come to accept regulatory change as the new normal, it is still grappling with difficult questions relating to post-trade reforms, such as bilateral margining and the clearing obligation. In addition, the markets aspects of MiFID II and MiFIR raise questions on the way trading will be done. Will OTC-trading remain possible, will setting up an OTF be interesting, when will a trading desk deem to be an SI?
The format of the event is an introduction to the kep topics by our market infrastructure experts from Amsterdam and London who will then lead the discussions between participants. As in previous years, we expect lively debate and rich content to result.
