The FCA has published a new web page setting out frequently asked questions (FAQs) relating to changes to the Mortgages and Home Finance Conduct of Business sourcebook (MCOB), which comes into effect on 26 April 2014, following the Mortgage Market Review. The FAQs relate to the following areas:

• contract variations, product switches and further advances;
• arrears and payment shortfalls;
• advice and execution-only sales;
• responsible lending; and
• pipeline business.
