There has been published in the Official Journal of the EU the texts of the Markets in Financial Instruments Directive (recast) (MiFID II) and the Markets in Financial Instruments Regulation (MiFIR). MiFID II and MiFIR will enter into force on July 2, 2014. Both will apply in member states from January 2, 2017.
