On 4 June 2018, there was published in the Official Journal of the EU Commission Implementing Regulation (EU) 2018/815 of 1 June 2018 on the extension of the transitional periods related to own funds requirements for exposures to central counterparties as set out in the Capital Requirements Regulation (CRR) and the European Markets Infrastructure Regulation (EMIR).
The 15 months periods referred to in Article 497(2) of the CRR and in the second subparagraph of Article 89(5a) of EMIR, as most recently extended in Implementing Regulation (EU) 2017/2241, are extended by an additional six months until 15 December 2018.
The Implementing Regulation enters into force on 7 June 2018.
