• 23 September 2024 – On 12 July 2024, the European Supervisory Authorities issued a consultation paper on guidelines on templates for explanations and opinions, and the standardised test for the classification of crypto-assets, under Article 97(1) of the Regulation on Markets in crypto-assets (MiCAR). The ESAs will hold a virtual public hearing on the consultation paper on 23 September 2024 from 10:00 to 12:00 CEST.
• 29 September 2024 – The European Securities and Markets Authority will start publishing the Designated Publishing Entities Register on 29 September 2024.

• 25 September 2024 – On 4 September 2024, the Financial Conduct Authority (FCA) launched a consultation on proposed guidance for UK trade repositories (TRs) registered under Article 55 of the UK European Market Infrastructure Regulation (UK EMIR), ahead of the implementation of the new UK EMIR reporting requirements that apply from 30 September 2024. The consultation closes on 25 September 2024.
• 27 September 2024 – On 9 August 2024, the FCA published Consultation Paper 24/17: Enhancing the National Storage Mechanism (CP24/17). The deadline for comments on CP24/17 is 27 September 2024.
