On 15 October 2025, the International Regulatory Strategy Group (IRSG) published a Global Regulatory Coherence Dashboard (Dashboard) intended to address risks of fragmentation in financial services regulation and professional services.

The Dashboard maps how global adoption and implementation of financial regulations align or diverge across policy areas. In particular, the Dashboard areas where the UK has shown leadership, for example in relation to sustainable finance disclosure adoption and operational resilience.

The Dashboard also sets out areas of regulatory fragmentation and where there is a potential need for new approaches including in relation to digital assets, AI, and data flows and data localisation. For example, the IRSG recommends that UK authorities explore whether there could be a cross-border dimension of its digital securities sandbox by working with other jurisdictions.

Overall, in the Dashboard, the IRSG highlights the need for greater global coordination to support regulatory coherence wherever possible.
