The Committee on Payments and Market Infrastructures (CPMI) and the International Organization of Securities Commissions (IOSCO) have published three reports on certain jurisdictions’ progress towards the implementation of the Principles for Financial Market Infrastructures (the Principles):

  • European Union;
  • Japan; and
  • United States.

Overall, the reports demonstrate that the three jurisdictions have made good progress in implementing the Principles in their legal and regulatory or oversight frameworks.

Where appropriate, the reports highlight gaps and make recommendations for addressing them.
