On 3 March 2020, the FCA issued a report Fostering innovation through collaboration: the evolution of the FCA TechSprint Approach. In this report, the FCA explains its TechSprint model, and how it has evolved over time. The FCA also provides an evaluation of its TechSprint model and notes some areas where it is working to further develop and improve its approach in the context of its wider efforts to foster sustainable and desirable innovation in financial markets. Through case studies the FCA illustrates key points, learnings and provides added information and insights that it hopes will help others who are thinking of adopting a similar approach.
