On 30 November 2023, the FCA published its latest Regulation Round-up.
The Round-up highlights the following key updates:
- It is reviewing and updating authorisation forms to improve the user journey and guidance text. It has first made improvements to Form A, used for Senior Management Function and Controlled Function applications. The new and improved version of Form A will be rolled out to more firms shortly, and the FCA intends to make changes to other application forms once its work on Form A is complete.
- On the Consumer Duty, the FCA is hosting a webinar on 6 December to help firms understand its expectations now the Duty is in force.
- The FCA has published the findings of its review of anti-fraud controls and complaint handling in a sample of payment service providers, with a focus on Authorised Push Payment fraud.
