On 11 March 2020, the FCA published the following new web pages relating to the Regulation on reporting and transparency of securities financing transactions (EU SFTR):

• SFTR library. To help firms understand their requirements, the FCA sets out on this web page links to useful information on EU SFTR legislation and UK SFTR legislation. This is not intended to be a comprehensive list of relevant information and is not a substitute for firms’ own research;
• EU SFTR reporting obligation. All counterparties must report details of the securities financing transactions they have concluded, modified or terminated to a registered or recognised trade repository under the EU SFTR’s reporting requirements; and
• EU SFTR. The FCA sets out an implementation timetable and a high level discussion of the EU SFTR, Brexit and the transition period.
