On 19 September 2023, the FCA published a new webpage on landing slots for funds in the temporary marketing permissions regime (TMPR).
The webpage explains that, in the coming months, the FCA will be contacting fund operators with respect to landing slots for exiting the TMPR. It also notes that the process of exiting the TMPR and the notification of landing slots is still under review.
In order to avoid delays in future communications, operators of UCITS in the TMPR should ensure that the FCA holds the correct email address, as this will be used to contact them with details of the process and landing slot. This email address should be for the operator and not an external consultancy firm or other third-party.
If funds registered under the TMPR are no longer marketing in the UK, they should be removed via the FCA’s Form TMPR CH.
The FCA will publish further information on landing slots on its website.
