The FCA has published its second Annual Report which looks back on the key pieces of work undertaken by the organisation throughout 2014/15.

The chief executive’s statement includes the following:

“Our expanded remit now means that every important financial decision an individual makes or that a firm is involved in must have a clear emphasis on good conduct. And I welcome that every CEO and Chairman I meet sees conduct as a central pillar of how their business must operate and, by extension, how they can regain the trust of the British people. This is unquestionably a good thing for consumers but also for firms and I look forward to working with them in the year ahead to implement the recommendations from the Parliamentary Commission on Banking Standards that will ingrain this still further.”
