FCA Policy development update No. 27

The FCA has published its latest Policy development update (No. 27) which covers:

FCA publications issued since the last update;
information about recent FCA Handbook-related and other developments;
other publications – consumer publications, guidance consultations and finalised guidance; and
an updated timetable for forthcoming publications.

In relation to forthcoming FCA publications it is expected that in:

December 2015 there will be a markets focused consultation paper on implementing MiFID II;
April 2016 there will be a retail focused consultation paper on implementing MiFID II;
Q1 2016 there will be a policy statement to Consultation Paper 15/27: UCITS V implementation and other changes to the Handbook affecting investment funds;
Q1 2016 there will be a policy statement to Consultation Paper 15/31: Strengthening accountability in banking: regulatory fees; and
Spring 2016 there will be a policy statement to Consultation Paper 15/35: Policy proposals and Handbook changes related to the implementation of the Market Abuse Regulation.
