The FCA has updated its webpage on reporting under the Alternative Investment Fund Managers Directive. The webpage now includes a number of FAQs on topics including:
- when the first report is due and what the reporting period will be;
- how often firms are required to report;
- how firms report a nil return;
- whether the FCA will be setting up a test system for the delivery of reports;
- technical guidance available to help complete the fields in the report;
- whether there will be automated validation checks that will be carried out on delivery of the report; and
- the reporting requirements for non-European Economic Area (EEA) alternative investment fund managers.
