The FCA has updated its webpage on reporting under the Alternative Investment Fund Managers Directive. The webpage now includes a number of FAQs on topics including:

  • when the first report is due and what the reporting period will be;
  • how often firms are required to report;
  • how firms report a nil return;
  • whether the FCA will be setting up a test system for the delivery of reports;
  • technical guidance available to help complete the fields in the report;
  • whether there will be automated validation checks that will be carried out on delivery of the report; and
  • the reporting requirements for non-European Economic Area (EEA) alternative investment fund managers.
