The FCA has published:
- aggregated complaints data for the second half of 2013 (that is, 1 July 2013 to 31 December 2013), together with commentary and technical information on the data and data charts; and
- firm-specific complaints data (as a spreadsheet and updated webpage) for the second half of 2013.
An accompanying FCA press release states that 2,479,029 new complaints were opened against firms during the second half of 2013. This represents a fall of 15% compared to the 2,911,154 complaints reported in the first half of 2013. Payment protection insurance complaints accounted for 56% of all complaints.
