The FCA has published its Annual Report 2013/14 which covers its first year in operation. The Annual Report sets out how the FCA delivered against its statutory objectives and highlights its key achievements as an organisation.

The FCA has also published its Enforcement Annual Performance Account which looks at the fairness and effectiveness of its enforcement function over the past year. An important difference in the FCA’s approach compared to the FSA is that it is now seeking to identify emerging problems and risks at an earlier stage and taking steps to manage and avert them. As a part of this, FCA enforcement has formally assisted in 21 early intervention projects across a range of sectors.
