What’s next for benchmark regulation
We will assess the upcoming regulatory framework, including the scope of the regulation, definition of critical benchmarks, oversight of commodity benchmarks, regulated data and survey based benchmarks and the application of proportionate requirements.
Implementation of the IOSCO principles
IOSCO will soon release a progress report on administrator compliance with its benchmark principles. Our discussion will explore the challenges administrators are facing around compliance, interpretation of the principles and proportionality around business models.
