There has been published in the Official Journal of the EU (OJ) the European Commission Implementing Regulation on the extension of transitional periods related to own funds requirements for exposures to central counterparties under the Capital Requirements Regulation (CRR) and the European Markets Infrastructure Regulation (EMIR).

The 15 month periods referred to in article 497(1) and (2) of the CRR and in the first and second subparagraph of article 89(5a) of EMIR, respectively, are extended by six months.

The Regulation will come into force the day after its publication in the OJ.
