The European Securities and Markets Authority (ESMA) has published a video and accompanying presentation slides on the legal entity identifier (LEI) requirements under MiFID II. ESMA staff recently participated in the Global Financial Markets Association webinar on the LEI. ESMA staff presented on the topic of LEI requirements under MiFID II and EMIR and addressed questions around the scope, requirements and reporting scenarios of LEIs.
