The European Securities and Markets Authority (ESMA) has updated its Q&As on the Benchmarks Regulation (BMR). Four new answers have been added to the Q&As on the following topics:
- scope of the BMR: (i) application of the BMR to EU and third country central banks; and (ii) exemption on single reference price; and
- definitions of the BMR: (i) “family of benchmarks”; and (ii) “use of a benchmark”.
