On 3 February 2021, the European Securities and Markets Authority updated its Q&As regarding market structures issues under MiFID II and MiFIR by adding:

• A new question 32 in the section on Direct Electronic Access (DEA) and algorithmic trading covering the classification of DEA trades.
• A new question 32 in the section on multilateral and bilateral systems covering Matched principal trading by investment firms.
