On 4 December 2019, the European Securities and Markets Authority (ESMA) published an updated version of its Q&As on investor protection and intermediaries under MiFID II and MIFIR.
The updated Q&As insert new questions and answers into the section on information on costs and charges relating to ex-post information for the service of portfolio management and the relationship between Articles 50(9) and 60 of Commission Delegated Regulation (EU) 2017/565 when providing portfolio management services.
The updated Q&As also insert a new question and answer into the section on product intervention in relation to how firms should apply national product intervention measures when providing investment services on a cross-border basis.
