On 9 November 2020, the European Securities and Markets Authority (ESMA) updated its Q&As concerning the Prospectus Regulation (PR) and the Transparency Directive (TD) in the context of the Brexit transition period.

The updated Q&As on the PR cover:

• Choice of PR home Member State at the end of the UK’s transition period for leaving the EU.
• Use of prospectuses, approved by the UK, after the end of the UK’s transition period for leaving the EU.

The updated Q&As on the TD contains an updated question 26 covering choice of TD home Member State after the end of the UK’s transition period for leaving the EU.
