On 18 July 2019, the European Securities and Markets Authority (ESMA) published additional resources to assist market participants to comply with the disclosure requirements under the Securitisation Regulation. In advance of several disclosure-related delegated acts that are due to be adopted by the European Commission ESMA has published
- a set of reporting instructions, validation rules and XML schema for disclosure templates. As set out in Article 4 of the draft disclosure technical standard, the reporting of data for securitisations must be done using XML; and
- updated Q&As on the Securitisation Regulation, clarifying different aspects of the draft disclosure technical standards, including how some specific fields in the templates should be completed.
