The European Parliament’s Economic and Monetary Affairs Committee and its Committee on Civil Liberties, Justice and Home Affairs have voted in favour of the proposed Fourth Money Laundering Directive and the proposed Regulation to amend and replace the Regulation on information on the payer accompanying transfer of funds.

The texts still need to be endorsed by the Council of the EU and the European Parliament. The European Parliament is expected to vote on the texts in March or April 2015.
