The European Central Bank (ECB) has published the user requirements’ documents for the real-time gross settlement (RTGS) services. The documents cover:
- central liquidity management;
- future RTGS services; and
- shared services.
The above documents are accompanied by a glossary.
The publication of the documents followed the approval of the TARGET2-T2S consolidation project. The project has now entered the implementation phase and the consolidated system is expected to be ready in November 2021.
